Digipak reissue of "Skinningrove Bay"
Skinningrove Bay is a musical kaleidoscope of memories, observations, and wry comments as gleaned through the eyes of Jack Lancaster who lived a colourful youth amid the last Iron and Whaling communities of Whitby and Skinningrove Bay in the North East of England. To tell his story, Jack, once a Blodwyn Pig, and now a notable solo artist and highly regarded session musician in his own right, gathered together a matchless group of artistes and musicians including such illustrious names as Phil Collins, Gary Moore, Rod Argent, Clive Bunker, Mick Rogers, and Robin Lumley, whose talents surely need not be referred to further.
The Gary Moore Experience - One-off event in London
Gary Moore makes Red House on Fire at Hippodrome on 25th October!
He has played a great selection of well-known Jimi Hendrix hits and also has choosed some other favourites of him. They are played in two different line-up during the ~75 minutes long set. Most of the songs were played with Darrin Mooney on drums and Dave Bronze on bass guitar, but of course as the press release has mentioned before Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox have also joined to Gary during the event.
"The Definitive Montreux Collection" on DVD!
Christmas comes early this year!
Eagle Rock Entertainment will release a great compilation of Gary's concerts at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival.
You will find a good selection of the already released '90 gig and almost the complete set of the concert from 1995. Finally we will see some more material from the '97 concert and the best moments from 1999 and 2001.
More than 4 hours superb video material from the greatest blues/rock guitarist of our time! No doubt it will be a must for the fans of Gary.
Dear Mr. Fantasy - The DVD version
In January 2007 a fantastic line-up of guests gathered at the Roundhouse in London to pay tribute to the late Jim Capaldi of Traffic and to raise money for his children's charity The Landmark Trust. Old friends such as Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens), Pete Townshend of The Who, Joe Walsh of The Eagles, Jon Lord of Deep Purple, Gary Moore, Dennis Locorriere of Dr. Hook and of course his Traffic colleague Steve Winwood, were joined by younger admirers such as Paul Weller and The Storys to perform their favorite Traffic and Jim Capaldi tracks in front of a sell out audience.
