Trans-Siberian tour in October!

This autumn Gary will return to Russia with his new band, but this time they will visit more cities than earlier in April. The tour will follow a similar route as the Trans-Siberian railway, which is the world's longest and the most famous train route that goes through Russia. It crosses the whole continent, starts in Moscow and ending in Vladivostok.

New album on way!

While we are enjoying the magical moments of Gary's recent rock tour, his record company is working on his next blues album, what was recorded earlier this spring. Eagle Records will release it (EAGCD422) later this autumn. At the moment 27th October is the "temporary release date" of it, and it is listed without any album title yet. We have not much further information about what we will hear on this record, although last year Gary had mentioned an acoustic blues album, what he would like to make as well, but it's more likely will be something closer in it's style to "Bad For You Baby" or "Close As You Get". Only one more gig left to play from the summer rock tour and after that we probably will hear more about this forthcoming album. Check back frequently!

Summer of Rock 2010 - Press release

Click for the larger sizeWith the "blues" line up on summer recess, Gary Moore will be hitting the road this summer, with a whole "new" band line up: Neil Carter returns, after 20 years, to take up his rightful place stage left, behind a battery of technology. He is planning to throw some on stage shapes, as he dusts off his guitars. Jonathan Noyce, (ex-Jethro Tull; sessions) will be holding down the bottom end on bass, again some one who is making a return to the live line up (he was last seen on the Phil Lynott, "One Night in Dublin" tribute DVD in 2005), and providing the percussive edge is a very familiar face, Darrin Mooney (Primal Scream ; sessions) on drums.

New EP & video featuring Gary's guitar playing!

Gypsy And The Wolf is a Brighton-based folk duo, and they have just released their new EP under the title "Perfect Rose".
On the 4th of February Gary joined them in a local pub to play "Crossroad", and around that time they are also recorded a song with Gary, what you can hear now on this EP. "Good Man" is the opening title of this new 6-track EP, which is available on iTunes from today. They are made a great video for the song featuring Gary, what we can watch now on their YouTube page.
