The German TV-Station 3sat have broadcasted an 53 minutes version of the Avo Session concert from the last year. Gary and the band have played this show in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th of November 2008. It was on program on 22th of May 2009, but as the recording has a beautiful picture and sound quality, hopefully they will repeat it in the near future.

This release offers over 6 hours of sensational Gary Moore live material, released on CD for the first time ever. "Essential Montreux" is superbly presented with each of the five concerts packaged in an individual card sleeve inside a substantial outer box. This special edition box set brings together Gary Moore's performances from five separate appearances at Montreux in 1990, 1995, 1997, 1999 & 2001.

This summer there will be another sensational open-air music festival in aid of Cancer Research UK. As you probably remember, Gary played in an amazing line-up at the Vibes From The Vines festival in 2006. On 8th August 2009 the festival takes place again in Horam, East Sussex. Mo Foster, Gary Husband, Ray Russell and Gary will be there again for sure, but of course there will be many other bands and musicians. Tickets are available already at the festival's website.

Now we can enjoy again these special moments of rock history in higher sound and picture quality.
