The Japanese Happinet Pictures just released the "Essential Montreux" box-set in a special version. It won't surprise you if I say that this version is including some bonus. This time they have added to the original 5CD set a 3" bonus disc including 4 songs from the 1990 concert. The package including a t-shirt as well. Much more interesting some info what the liner notes of this release are hiding from those who can't read the Japanese kanjis! It is mention the official DVD release of the Jimi Hendrix tribute concert what Gary has played in London two years ago. It would be the perfect gift under the Chrsitmas tree! More info soon!
Also there are some information about Gary's future plans. He is planning to record an acoustic blues album, and after that he would like to make the long-awaited celtic-rock album, what he would like to record with musicians like Simon Phillips or Neil Carter for example.
